Lubbock
We are located in Lubbock, Texas and have proudly served this community for multiple years. Lubbock is a great location for people looking to enter treatment and be a part of the recovery community. Lubbock has numerous 12 step meetings and sober living in town and a collegiate recovery community located at Texas Tech University. We have several clients that completed treatment and went back to school to get their degrees. Lubbock is a great location to receive the help you need and stay long-term if you choose to do so.
Midland/Odessa
The Permian basin area has higher drug and alcohol use rates especially in industries such as oil and gas. In 2019 the positivity rate for drug tests was 18% compared to the 9% nationwide positivity rate. This has led to job loss and increased accidents and injuries on the job (McEwen, 2019). At Firesky Recovery we provide a safe environment for treatment close enough and far enough away from this area to get well. We are just two short hours away from the Midland/Odessa area which makes it more convenient to travel to and from our treatment. We also provide enough distance should your loved one need to be removed outside of town away from their day-to-day environment for a period of time.
Abilene
We often work with individuals from the greater Texas region, such as Abilene, San Angelo, Snyder, Sweetwater, and more! We work with our clients to offer caring support and the key resources they need for a successful recovery.
Amarillo
Similar to Midland/Odessa, our treatment is about 2 hours away from the Amarillo area. Amarillo is somewhat isolated from the larger metropolitan cities yet it has higher rates of binge drinking and heavy drinking than the heavily populated city of Houston (Bezrutczyk, 2022). Instead of making the drive to larger cities with longer traveling time, we are just two hours away from the area and can provide you with the help you need.
Dallas/Fort Worth
Many of our clients travel from the Dallas Fort Worth region, a vibrant area with a diverse community. We will gladly work alongside you or your loved one to find the support and assistance you need, ensuring that you can return home and achieve lasting success in your long-term recovery journey.
Houston
We’ve treated individuals from the greater Houston area. We’d love to support your journey to healing. Additionally, we will work closely alongside you to provide you with resources when you return home for a successful recovery.
Austin/San Antonio
Individuals seeking treatment outside of Central Texas can find comfort in West Texas with us at Fire Sky Ranch. We will gladly facilitate your recovery journey with us and plan for your transition back home once you feel ready!
New Mexico
Clients looking for a treatment that’s close to home can find services with us in Lubbock! We will gladly work with whatever insurance you have or find an accommodating payment arrangement to help you begin the healing process!
Larger Cities in Texas and Out of State
We have gladly treated clients from everywhere in the United States from New Hampshire, Georgia, Florida, North Carolina, and beyond. We’d love to provide you with any help we can offer!
We have more recently received increased clientele from cities farther from Lubbock in Texas and outside states. We understand that some people may need a fresh start and that may involve relocating to a different area entirely. Treatment farther away from home or out of state can be beneficial for individuals who want to start over or take that extra step in committing to their sobriety. Looking outside the immediate area can also provide more options for treatment centers that meet the specific psychological and physical needs of the client (Carmona, 2022).
Wherever you may be located we are here to help! We also have knowledgeable staff who will assist in providing you referrals for aftercare should you choose to return to your hometown.
